Why Sino Stirling

Cold chain hardware built for the field, not just the lab

Conventional compressor freezers are heavy, vibration-prone and tied to mains power. Our Stirling-driven portable freezers deliver true −86 °C storage in a carryable footprint — with no dry ice, no liquid nitrogen and no compromise on temperature stability.

Stirling Core

Helium-charged free-piston Stirling engine with continuous modulation — no compressor oil, minimal vibration, long service life.

−86 °C Stability

Adjustable −86 °C to −20 °C in 1 °C steps, ±3 °C uniformity top to bottom, microprocessor controlled with high/low alarms.

Power Anywhere

100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, or 24 V DC from a vehicle or mobile source. True auto-voltage for worldwide deployment.

Natural Refrigerant

R-170 (ethane) with helium — 100 % natural, low-GWP refrigerants. No special export classification; ship by air, road or sea.

Product Range

Three capacities. One technology platform.

Every model shares the same Stirling engine, control system and insulation architecture — choose the volume that fits your workflow.

The Technology

A cooling engine with almost nothing to wear out

Inside every unit is a helium-charged free-piston Stirling engine. Heat is moved by a gravity-driven thermosiphon to a finned heat exchanger, while the cold wall liner freezes the chamber evenly.

  • Free-piston Stirling engine with continuous modulation — no compressor, no oil, no refrigerant pump
  • Gravity-driven thermosiphon heat transport — no moving parts in the cold loop
  • R-170 (ethane) natural refrigerant, 10–12 g charge only
  • Vacuum insulated panels + polyurethane foam for maximum hold time
  • Under 55 dB(A) at 1 metre — quiet enough for clinical and laboratory environments
  • Optional wireless temperature monitoring, logging and dry-contact alarm output

Applications

Trusted wherever temperature is critical

From regenerative medicine to remote field sampling — if it must stay at −80 °C, it can travel with you.

Biologics & Cell Therapy

Long-term storage and transport of cell therapies, regenerative medicine products and sensitive biologics.

Vaccines & Pharmaceuticals

Keep vaccines, reagents and APIs within specification without relying on dry ice replenishment.

Clinical Point-of-Care

Deliver temperature-sensitive therapies to the patient side, in clinics and remote treatment sites.

Field & Remote Sampling

Collect specimens far from infrastructure on 24 V DC vehicle power — no dry ice, no confined-space CO₂ risk.

Laboratory Benchtop

A compact −86 °C unit beside the bench — frees up upright freezer space and shortens sample handling.

Material Low-Temp Testing

Simulate ultra-cold environments for component, electronic and material performance validation.
